Fundación Aldesa is an initiative of Aldesa to assist those less fortunate. It is funded from a percentage of the Group’s annual profits, plus contributions from customers and friends.

It began operating in 1995, with assets worth CRC 20 million. As of August 31, 2006, its assets had grown to nearly CRC 290 million.

Supports over 500 people per month with food and milk for children through the “Bodeguitas Juan Pablo II” Program.

Financial contributions to Fundación Aldesa are devoted to support children, elders, and handicapped, as well as to grant scholarships to students in need.
